Help Save My Torbi Cat Ruby

Hi, my name is Njeri and I am setting up this fundraiser to save my torbi cat’s life. Her name is Ruby and she is 2 years old.

It started with her hiding a lot under the couch and seeming hurt when her back legs were touched. It turns out that she has bilateral hip dysplasia.

She slowly stopped eating and no longer played with Paka our other cat. Although from separate litters they would sleep and play together and have been together since they were 3 months old.

I took her in for a vet appointment only to find that her red blood cell count is very low to the point of it being fatal if there is no intervention. She has been tested for feline leukaemia and feline aids which have come back negative. We are in need of a blood transfusion for her which costs at least 3,000 dollars in Maryland. We will also have to have other tests to figure out what the issue is and our vet has informed us that each test start out at around $300 each.

She currently refuses to eat anything so I have been feeding her baby food through a syringe by suggestion of my vet.

I know that times have been hard so if you are able to donate anything it would be appreciated. I do not think she has much time left.
