MANDY LACEY

hi my name is Colleen a close friend of the Lacey family, as many of you are aware Mandy Sadly lost her battle with cancer on the 21st of November 2023.

mandy beat cancer 22 years ago, but was sadly Rediagnosed a few years ago shortly after something Unimaginable happened, I will not go in to details but this sent Mandy and tony to rock bottom,

then shortly after Mandys diagnosis whilst in hospital her having treatment tony was also diagnosed with cancer so while both were receiving chemotherapy they were unable to comfort and be there to support one another which caused huge heart ache for them both,

They have both been through so much over the last few years but always tried remaining strong and positive for there 5 children and 11 grandchildren, smiling laughing and making memories especially Mandy in her final days

over the last few months Mandy as been extremely poorly in hospital to which the family were at her bed side day and night, Mandy was the definition of a true warrior and was her usual happy smiley self until the very end, still laughing singing and making memories with her grandchildren from her hospital bed, she was a pure ray of sunshine, with a heart of gold and would literally give you her last pound, and always give a ear to listen and shoulder to lean on when times were hard, she dedicated her life to helping and looking out for everyone around her and deserves the most wonderful send off,

so I am praying as a community we can come together and take some of the strain off of the family at this extremely difficult time.
