Emergency Funds for Andrew Stephens

Update 12/12: Andrew is still in the hospital and we’re still unsure of his release date. He is having a culture taken of some inflammation around his incision to see if he has an infection and if it can be treated by antibiotics or if he will have to undergo surgery to have the fluid drained. Once that’s taken care of we’re hoping he will be medically cleared to be released and begin physical therapy. He is still having small improvements every day. He still has a very long road ahead of him but we are thankfully very optimistic that he will walk again.
Update 12/2: Andrew’s surgery on Monday went well. He had a very herniated disc(L4) and large blood clot on the spine so they removed the clot and fused his L3 and L5 together. We are very optimistic the compressed nerves continue to wake up and he will have a full recovery, but we don’t know how long that may take. Every day he has been getting a little more feeling or movement back so that is very positive news. We don’t know when he will be released from hospital and enter PT, but he will still have a very long road ahead. All your support is greatly appreciated.
Andrew Stephens was seriously injured in a car accident on November 26th requiring emergency spinal surgery. He will be unable to work for the foreseeable future and unfortunately had no medical insurance at the time of the accident. He is greatly in need of financial assistance to help cover his regular expenses and supporting his 2 young boys and for continuing medical expenses.
