Jordan’s Journey

As it is the giving season, I hope you will consider giving to assist Jordan’s long haul to recovery. Unfortunately, medical bills are not light like Christmas lights are this season.

Jordan is one of our amazing Child Life Specialists at Memorial Hospital, that has broadened her scope of practice with her facility dog, Micky. On November 16, 2023, Jordan was headed into work when she experienced a sudden, severe headache. As critical time ticked, it was discovered Jordan had suffered a large, spontaneous brain bleed. She was rushed into neurosurgery at that time and remains in the intensive care unit at Memorial Hospital South Bend.

A little bit about our sweet Jordan; she is the absolute kindest, full of life, love, and laughter human you may ever meet. She has a way of holding her own, protecting the ones she loves, but keeping that sweet smile on her face through it all. She recently married the sweetest husband she prayed for, Nico. They’ve been looking forward to decorating their new home, continuing to love on their pups, and experiencing life as husband and wife - all with lots of coffee, love, and joy. As this may have been put on hold, we remain faithful and positive that this will happen in their future.
