My mom Alberta “Bertie” Nelson left us suddenly and quite unexpectedly at the young age of 62. Although those who love her feel it was way too soon, the Lord had the time of her last breath preordained before she even took her first breath on this earth.

Bertie was always the life of the party; the loudest in any room. Her antics often made others blush and herself snort with laughter. As large as her personality and presence were, her heart was even larger. She loved her family and friends deeply, lending a hand and serving them the best she knew how.

Her life was not without struggle. She had many physical ailments that caused her great pain, but she kept loving, laughing, and serving through it all.

We would love to provide a life celebration for her fitting of one whose presence enveloped every room she entered. The void she has left can never be filled, but a gathering of loved ones to celebrate her life can provide comfort and even JOY as they remember her life. Thank you for anything you can contribute to aid the family in celebrating Bertie’s life.
