Expenses Related to Medical Treatment

Update 12/7/2023: after 12 hours of an extreme headache and vomiting, I was finally able to convince Chris to let me take him to the ER. They performed another CT scan and discovered a brain bleed in a secondary mass. The secondary mass is news to us. The wait is on to determine the best course of treatment.
Hi, my name is Holly Maxwell and I'm lucky to call myself Chris Langley's person. I'm starting this campaign to help give us some financial traction during an unexpected medical event. On Monday, November 13th Chris was admitted to the ER at OU Medical Center where the neurosurgeon found a mass in his brain. Chris has been through radiation therapy for melanoma and was on the cusp of starting immunotherapy. On Friday, November 17th the doctors successfully removed the tumor.
During this two-week period of hospitalization, Chris went through several steroid treatments to improve the mobility of his arms and legs. We are presently awaiting physical therapy to begin at home. The future looks bright, and if you know Chris, you already know that he has several stories to tell about this period of time that he was in the hospital.
Unfortunately, we are dealing with a shortage of working hours on both of our parts. As all of you know, this isn't easy for us to ask of anyone (especially at the beginning of the holiday season). However, in this pinch, we are going to have to step out on a limb and show our vulnerability. We plan to use all donations to make sure that we are able to stay safe in our home with the lights burning brightly. All of your positive thoughts, prayers, good vibes, and fancy sprinkles are so welcome and needed by us right now. We thank you for your love and encouragement.
