Aloha 'Ohana and Friends,
Bob "Bobby" Butler and his wife Kathy have been residents of Kauai since 1977. They raised their three children Ben, Aimee and Bryan in our little town of Kilauea here on the the North Shore.
Bob was a general contractor for over 40 years, employing many families in our community. He is known for his kind heart, epic storytelling, big wave riding, generosity and the ability to deeply connect with others.
He was diagnosed with stage four metastasized prostate cancer that has spread to his bones. In October he was hospitalized multiple times before being transferred to Garden Isle Rehab.
Bob is now home and in the care of Hospice. He is unable to leave his bed and requires round the clock care. The family is doing all they can themselves, but it has become clear that he now needs professional assistance. The hospital, rehab and the cost for home care is monumental and they need our help.
We humbly ask for your prayers so that Bobby and his family are able to spend these precious days with less worry and stress. The family is infinitely grateful for your kind and generous support to shepherd them through this time.
If you are inclined to prepare a lovely meal (no red meat) for the family, please message us here.
In love, Mimsy and Roberta
