Donate to Help Thelma's battle with brain cancer

Those who know her would know, Thelma is a mother of many. Most of her family would describe her as 'pivotal'. She is highly empathetic, the first to want to help and usually one of the most intuitive persons in the room.

We, the family write this excerpt to request for some help for Thelma, just like she has helped many in the past. She was diagnosed in July this year to have a malignant brain tumor and has been steadily fighting it ever since.

It's extremely important to us that our beloved Thelma receive the best medical care at this time, because we all love her, and we know that she has more to do. She is a paragon of humility and one could say her greatest flaw is loving too hard, an absolute angel!

We are asking for some assistance in supporting Thelma at this time will medical funding where insurance and personal funds run short. Anything that you may be able to contribute can stretch a far way, we want to bring Thelma back home. She is in need of further treatment and medical care/assistance from: therapy consults, diet, nurse care, emergency vehicle/transportation costs, medication (IV,chemotherapy/radiation assisting drugs).

Hope

Being diagnosed with brain cancer, facing limited treatment options, and feeling the weight of uncertainty pressing down upon you. This is the reality for so many people fighting this relentless disease.

It has been the reality for the person I love the most in this world, my mom, Thelma. However, amidst the darkness, we have hope. It is in this spirit of hope and solidarity that I launched a crowdfunding campaign to support her. Our family has explored all the standard and alternative treatment options available, and we have a lot to be thankful for, especially to those who helped to push her campaign.

Without your help, we wouldn’t have been able to support her the way we have, it has made it easier to meet her basic needs, cover medical costs, and serves as a buffer for incoming bills. Her most viable standard option moving forward involves the use of tumour-starving therapy, a very expensive form of treatment which will not be covered by insurance.
