A year and a half ago my brother had two massive heart attacks within a 24-hour period. This resulted in him receiving 5 stints. He also has a pacemaker and has been diagnosed with a severe case of neurocardiogenic syncope and autonomic dysfunction which both cause him to pass out. Because of his condition he has been on disability for the past several years.

His wife, Jamie has been the main source of income for the family due to his inability to work. Unfortunately, over the past several weeks she has developed problems which has kept her from working and have placed her on FMLA. She has developed severe pain in her hands, feet, legs and arms. She has also been dealing with a lot of nausea and vomiting along with weakness and numbness throughout her body which has resulted in her using a wheelchair. She has also had a lot of confusion which causes her to have problems in doing some of the most basic things.

She has been to several doctors including a neurologist, gastroenterologist, nutritionist, pain specialist, and her family doctor. So far, she has had several blood tests which showed a major drop in her folic acid and potassium levels, they also showed that her iron levels are 6 times the normal rate. She has also had an MRI, x-rays, upper GI and a therapeutic phlebotomy done. The doctors believe that she is severely malnourished which has also caused her to develop neuropathy, fibromyalgia, and hemostasis. She is currently doing physical therapy 3 times a week. The doctors have told them that her recovery will be long term. Hopefully she can recover from this in the next few months.

However, with her being the main source of income the family is struggling financial. They have 2 children, Jacob and Patrick. It is my hope that this GoFundMe account will help them pay her medical bills and help them with their monthly expenses.
