Ashley medical bills

Donation protected
Hello everyone!

My name is Cory and I’m raising money for my wife Ashley and all our medical bills. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor about a month ago. She had been dealing with severe symptoms for the better part of a year and finally was able to convince doctors that something was wrong and got some tests done and we found out she has a brain tumor. She is scheduled for surgery on December 20.
As you can imagine, hearing that you have a brain tumor is very scary. There are many unknowns as we try to navigate our way through these difficult times. The surgery itself is very complex and there are several risks that could happen. As if the news of hearing that you have a brain tumor isn’t scary enough, all the risks of the surgery make it that much worse. Some are short term and some could be permanent and there is no way to know until the surgery is done.
Ashley has been so incredibly strong throughout this whole process and continues to have a positive attitude about it. It would be so easy to just let this diagnosis consume her life and her thoughts but she refuses to let that happen. Ashley does so much for our family and is literally the glue that holds us together and the heart of our family. She has been my rock through everything and always puts other people first. She is dealing with all of this and her first thought is that she doesn’t want to be an inconvenience or burden anybody. She is also scared about our finances and what will happen as she has to take time off work for recovery. The doctors say she will most likely need a minimum of 8 weeks to recover.
Our story isn’t unique and unfortunately happens all too often to too many people. Life doesn’t stop when things like this happen and the bills are still due. As a husband and father it is my job to provide for us and make sure that my family is taken care of. So I am swallowing my pride and asking for help. If you are able to help out in any way, we would be beyond appreciative. Any little bit will help as we will be taking on medical bills and just normal day to day bills while she will be out of work. If you aren’t able to donate, we completely understand and would just ask that you say a quick prayer for her or send positive thoughts into the world for her. If you see her or have a way to contact her, just give her some love. All the love and support we have received from family and friends has gotten us through this so far and we will continue to need the love. Thank you in advance to anybody that donates or thinks about us during these scary times.
