Cancer Will Not Win

Hello, friends, family, and compassionate souls,

I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and an urgent plea for support. My name is Yolanda F. Carney aka Yudie, and I am in the midst of a daunting battle against cancer. This diagnosis has turned my life upside down, but with your help, I believe there is hope for a brighter future.

My journey began when I was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma (rare soft tissue cancer) in November 2021 on my youngest son’s birthday. Since then, my life has been filled with hospital visits, chemotherapy, and the challenges that come with this relentless disease. But despite the pain and uncertainty, I refuse to give up.

I am humbly asking for your assistance to help me access the treatment and care I need to combat this disease. Unfortunately, I was told by one of the leading/cutting-edge hospitals that I may not have any more treatment options with them! With that being said, I have to advocate for my health and fight to LIVE! I AM A MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER TO SOME VERY SPECIAL LITTLE PEOPLE AND I WILL NOT STOP FIGHTING!

After some extensive research, I will be seeking medical care at MD Anderson in Texas. Fortunately, medical insurance will cover a percentage of the cost of treatment, but there will be additional costs.

And this is why I need your help.
