Cappy Chinchilla

Hello, my name is Isaura Chinchilla and my father Gener Chinchilla, better known as Cappy, was involved in the accident that occurred on Route 517 on November 22, 2023. We really wanted to give the community time to help and donate to the families of others involved. But I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has kept my father in their thoughts and prayers. It makes my heart so happy to know that my dad has made such a positive impact in so many lives. My father suffered great injuries due to this awful accident, but what has affected him most of all is the physiological damage that this has brought onto his life. I am happy to say that my dad has made it out of the hospital, but now we worry of what is to come. Many of you know my dad owns the company G&C Landscaping and Home Improvement, which with this accident suffered a major loss. Not only was my dad’s working season cut short due to the accident but he cannot return to work for 6 months. We worry about the bills that are going to pile up during these 6 months of no work, we are worried about the equipment we lost in the fire that we still owed. My dad has worked 8 hard years bringing his company up from scraps, and to see it all burn into ashes is like seeing his hard work and dedication gone as well. We understand there is a lot of suffering going on in our community and it makes me so happy to see us join together this holiday season.
