Ashley Phelps Memorial

Ashley Phelps went to heaven yesterday. It was completely unexpected as she was a healthy 31 year old. Ashley was in a place she loved, Sunday school, surrounded by her church family, when she simply collapsed. We're not sure the details of WHY and we might never know but this is what I DO know, though. I know that she loves Jesus with all of her heart and soul and mind. I know that she is with Him right now and that there are no more tears and she is having a BLAST with her Creator. I know that she has already begun to raise up Mason (7) and Marley (she'll be 4 on the 15th) in the way that they should go so they will have relationships with their Lord. I know that she has a loving & supportive husband in Jamie who is going to make sure Mason& Marley are loved and cared for. I know she has amazing family (like her siblings Sarah, Destiny and Zack) who are going to reach out and help take care of Jamie, Mason, & Marley any way they can. She also has an incredible church family and huge group of friends- when you touch as many lives as Ashley did, that's inevitable. I feel certain that this sweet girl who loved her mission trips to Haiti (and couldn't wait to go back), left this earth while teaching a Sunday school class, had just finished serving at a trailer park outreach days before, and who loved others so SO well was greeted and told "well done, my good & faithful servant." These things are all a comfort to my sad heart. Please continue to pray for Jamie, Mason, Marley, her sister Sarah, and for all of her close family and friends. Ashley had some goals to 1) pay off medical bills 2) take her kids to Disney World and 3) Go on more mission trips to Haiti. So I'm sure a fund would be greatly appreciated by her family.
