Coming Together to Heal After Tragedy

While this is not a fully fleshed out plan, we feel that this needs to go out now.

The Farm has started a go fund me to help those who were affected by the tragedy that occurred this Saturday. The funds are being raised to help cover therapy, counseling, and any other related costs that occur due to the traumatic event. We don’t want personal finances to be a barrier so we hope that having a community fund will encourage people to seek the help they need.

We are incredibly grateful for anything that anyone can contribute. The way that support has poured in from around the world here on our previous posts has reminded us of the strength that we have when we come together. Even just a dollar from everyone who has reached out or liked a post would go leaps and bounds in helping those affected get the help they need to process what we have been through.

If we raise more than needed we will work with the community to use the money for the health and growth of the community.

Our basic plan is to start this fundraiser and find an administrator to process the bills as they come in and pay out of the fund. We are looking to have fully open records and transparency on how the money is used without disclosing personal or medical information. We will not touch a dime of this money ourselves.

We recognize that this is going to be a difficult road, but the reality is that we are already on it.
