Assistance for Dan and Karyn
Donation protected
I am reaching out to all friends and loved ones, especially to the friends and loved ones of my father Daniel Williams, as he is in need of financial assistance during his battle with cancer.
On December 14th, 2021, Dad became very ill with a very high fever. Doctors assumed it was COVID-19 until they took a closer look and discovered a mass in his abdomen.
Upon discovery, they quickly realized he had gone septic and proceeded with emergency surgery to remove the mass, which resulted in a loss of approximately 10" of his colon.
Everything changed for him and our family that day when the doctors gave the news that he had Metastatic colon cancer that had spread to his liver. The diagnosis did not end there he was also told he had Metastatic melanoma in the lymphnodes under his left arm.
Dad went through 12 rounds of Chemotherapy like a champ and most of his major organs were cleared when chemo was finished. A hard-fought battle was won in the short-term. The once cleared phase is now active again and he is awaiting another surgery that has been postponed due to a blood clot found in his spleen.
Dad has been unable to work since then. His amazing wife Karyn has been working tirelessly around the clock for them both to make ends meet but with hard times it has not been easy.
Dad has had many random serious health problems thrown his way in life including the removal of a brain tumor. As bad as this his luck has been he finds a way to pull through and manages to stay in good spirits. What cancer has taken from my father is more than just his health and the ability to stay a hard-working Blue Collar man, it has robbed him of his pride which for us "men" can be the greatest sacrifice of all.
Any and all donations including prayers will be greatly appreciated as the financial burden is currently the most prominent issue as he continues this fight and the medical bills pile up.
To all friends and family, I encourage you to share this post wherever and however you see fit.
Thank you all for your love, support and prayers. It means more to all of us than you could ever imagine.
