Ride to Recovery

Hello, my name is Cassie, and I am creating this fundraiser for my brother-in-law Mike Clore Jr. and my sister Amber.

 

I want to start out by saying that these two live a selfless life and have gone above and beyond many times to help others in need however they can, whenever they can. Now, it is our turn to help them!

 

What started out as a typical Easter morning April 4, 2021 ended with the beginning of a long journey for Mike and Amber.   A journey that is not over yet. Mike landed himself in the hospital with Covid and has been out of work since, battling with recovery from Covid Pneumonia and multiple other health complications as a result of having had Covid. Mike's most recent doctor visit pushed his expected return to work date to April 2022. Tomorrow marks six months without work, and April 2022 will mark a year.

 

Mike is the main provider for his household and has relied on working as much overtime as possible for the past twenty years. Mike and his family have been living off of a drastically reduced income and are eating through their life savings trying to cover all of their expenses, both day-to-day and medical. On top of everything, it was discovered just two weeks ago that Mike and Amber's home is in need of extensive home repairs due to the recent rainfall that will not be covered by homeowners insurance.
