Hope Chest of OKC

Hope Chest has a simple mission - to keep children and families in need off the floor and in a bed of their own. By providing those in need with beds, bedding, tables, and chairs, Hope Chest can make a significant impact on the quality of life. Too often, we take our comfort for granted and don't realize how important small things, such as fresh bedding and pillows, can affect our well-being.

Last year, Hope Chest delivered around 400 beds to families in need with the help of generous donors and volunteers. The volunteers personally deliver and set up each bed. Often, a bed from Hope Chest is a child's first bed. They work closely with other charities and case workers who already have a relationship with the recipient. The beds they deliver add to someone's growing stability and journey to success. Hope Chest is a small charity run entirely by volunteers. They receive very little government funding and rely heavily on donors.

At UPT, we believe it is vital to invest in the communities in which we operate, and we have long encouraged our associates to share in the spirit of giving promoted by our founder, Keith Price. In 2012, the UPT Family Fund was created to honor his legacy and ensure his passion for helping others lives on. Every year since its inception, UPT associates have been able to nominate a charity close to their heart for a chance to receive a substantial gift from the Family Fund, and we are proud to continue the tradition of giving this year.
