Justice for Aiden❤️

Hi, my name is Michael Oriend. I’m not a writer so bear with me as I’m just trying to help my friend out. I am creating this go fund me on behalf of Nick Hutchins. He has been fighting for visitation of his 10 year old son Aiden, since 2016. After multiple court orders for visitation blatantly refused by the Ex wife the court finally made Nick the custodial parent. Nick has flown from Maine to Florida multiple times to get his son Aiden. Only to leave empty handed because the mother ignored court ordered holidays and visitation. Instead of giving up he flew to Florida each and every time. This last week he was granted to be the custodial parent. Thursday, August 24th a judge ordered the mother to bring Aiden to the sheriffs office so Nick could get him and bring him home. Well that never happened.

On Friday, August 25th Aiden was never brought to the sheriffs office. Instead she took Aiden and hid him. After searching physically and also making Facebook posts to be shared publicly, we located where Aiden was at. Sadly this would end tragically. Aiden’s mother took Aiden’s life from him. Not only did she take his life she took his sisters life and then took her own life. Now my friend, Nick has to have a funeral for his own son.

All of this could have been prevented. Family members of the mother, friends of the mother, court system, police all dropped the ball.

We don’t want this to happen to any other families. No amber alert could be issued due to not meeting a “criteria”. If the amber alert cannot be changed to fit this situation the we can possibly look at creating a new alert that would be able to be issued in this type of situation. Court systems let this mother take Aiden even after a multiple contempt’s of court, even after these multiple contempt’s the court gave her 24 hours to give her son up, which never happened. Police didn’t make it public that they were even looking for his son. By not making it public no news outlets could post him as a missing person. EVERYONE dropped the ball.

Money will be used for legal fees to fight this system so hopefully this doesn’t happen to anyone else, paying for funeral expense, paying for my friend Nick to take off work to grieve during this hard time.
