A few weeks ago a dear friend of mine took her husband to the doctor to check on a sore throat that wouldn't go away. They immediately were sent to the ENT. After a few tests his diagnosis was confirmed - Throat Cancer with lymph glands involved - Stage 3
Nick is a hard working man that never skimped on supporting his family.
My dear friend ;Nick's wife, has always offered a helping hand to others. I wanted to provide as much support as I can. I created this campaign to give others an opportunity to support them too. Anything helps when it comes to medical bills.
The money raised will be used to pay for his already mounting medical bills as well as help pay for some of his living expenses as he can not work through some of his treatments. He will have 7 weeks of 5 days a week radiation with 1 day a week chemotherapy. If his lymph glands aren't better after treatment, surgery will be the next stop. This is an estimated amount as you never know with Cancer. Since the treatment starts in December he will be responsible for two deductibles and two out of pocket maximums.
Nick is grateful for all the people that have stepped up to help him through this difficult time. It will be a challenge for them as my friend is working 40 hours and commuting Nick to his treatments in another city
