Help Save Our Whitney Pier Rink !!

Hi everyone, on behalf of the Board of Directors, I've created this campaign to assist the rink in achieving their goal of keeping the facility open. The Whitney Pier Rink is a community owned, non-profit recreation facility. The facility is managed by a board of directors on a volunteer basis and has had a significant impact within our community for the past 50 years. Due to venue changes within the hockey community the facility is struggling with revenue expectations required to offset operating expenses. The board of directors are actively seeking assistance from our municipality in efforts to carry out this season and build for the future.  There is a strong possibility the rink may have to close its doors early this season if the financial support isn't there. Every donation will help this great cause. Let's pull together and do what we can to keep the doors open and allow our children to continue to enjoy this memorable facility.
