Healing Hearts

The purpose of this gofundme account is to prevent  water and utilities from being disconnected at Wendy’s home. The alimony and child support she relied heavily upon, stopped coming in this past January. Most recently her wages have been garnished for a debt that wasn’t hers. It was incurred by her ex-husband, who was ordered to pay it in the divorce case, for which he hasn’t as of the date of this campaign. That’s one of many debts he was ordered to pay and hasn’t,  therefore creditors are coming after her.  She went to court today concerning the garnishment, and explained that situation. Until her divorce court case is finalized (it’s been dragging on for over 3 years) the garnishment will continue even though evidence provided to court today by Wendy proves it’s not her debt.

Without the court ordered alimony and child support, and her incoming wages substantially reduced, Wendy is in crisis mode. The water and utilities will be shut off. Phones disconnected. By the grace of God she has been able to pay her rent, the kids school fees, and many other expenses attributed to her boys. Wendy is the sole provider, sole nurturer, sole parent of two teenage sons whom have been the most affected. She works long hours, and is committed to improving their lives financially, emotionally and spiritually. She plans to pick up a part-time job within the next few weeks. 

Her next court date in the divorce isn’t until the end of July. It has been continued by the family court in Fairfield county one too many times.
