On July 15, 2015 Carah gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Kaseten James Quamme in Williston, ND.
Following Kasten's birth, complications arose and Carah was in and out of the hospital due to fluid retention, high blood pressure and a weak heart. She eventually was put into a medically induced coma to attempt to let her body heal the best it could. Unfortunately Carah passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in a Minot hospital surrounded by loved ones.
Our hearts go out to Chris, her amazing husband, and Kaseten, her newborn baby boy, who she was absolutely in love with as soon as she met him.
Her funeral will be Sunday, August 2, 2015 at 3 p.m. at American Lutheran Church in Stanley, ND.
