"When the Lights Go Out" is an independent horror film that
follows a team of paranormal investigators as they go on one last job to
a haunted mental institution where children have reportedly gone
missing. While searching for evidence of what is haunting the abandoned
building, they stumble upon clues that reveal what made the former head
doctor snap and go on a killing spree through the halls decades
earlier. Unfortunately, the more they uncover, the more they struggle to
make it out of the asylum alive.
How Your Donations Can Help This Film Lately, it has been an unfortunate trend in the horror film
genre to simply throw as much blood and gore at the audience in the
hopes that they will see it as terrifying. Audiences have caught on to
this. "When the Lights Go Out" gives them a chilling change of pace
stemming back to the roots of true horror. Each twist in the story will
not only keep you on the edge of your seat, but it'll also make you
terrified to learn what is lurking in the dark shadows. With our goal almost met, the rest of the funds will help
with additional equipment rentals,post production,marketing and transportation. The larger our budget the scarier we can make this film!! With your support we can make "When the

Who Are We? We've been working extremely hard the last couple months
to acquire the best of the best when it comes to our crew and we are not
above bragging about them. So just to name a few, here are some of the
crew members excited to bring you "When the Lights Go Out" Craig Deering- Writer/Director Since his break out in the comedy world on
YouTube he has acquired over 33+ Million views on his channel Evil Iguana
Productions. Since then he has graduated from Columbia College in
Chicago getting his bachelors degree in film/video. He has had the
opportunity to direct projects for MTV, a documentary for a multimillion dollar company and commercials for local business in
Chicago. He is also currently has more than one television show pilots
being shot in different states across the country. "When the Lights Go
Out" has been his passion project for over two years now. Twelve drafts
later he is finally has the story he dreamed of telling and is more than
ready to bring it to reality.
Allen Murphy- Writer Allen Murphy studied English at Elmhurst
College. While initially telling stories through the popular comedy YouTube channel, Evil Iguana Productions, Allen now spends the majority
of his time writing screenplays, short stories, novels, and an original
web series. Having helped write When The Lights Go Out, Allen couldn't
be more excited to see it on the big screen. With that said, he'll be a
bit embarrassed to tell everyone how much it scared him even though he
knew exactly what was coming next.
