Root Yoga Support Fund

Hi Yoga Lovers! I’m here as a past student to give a helping hand to my favorite yoga studio, Root Yoga, who unfortunately had to close permanently due to to Covid-19. The owner, Emily, an Oxford local, had to close her dream after pouring her heart into it, due to of the virus preventing her from holding normal studio classes.  

After spending the last 8 months offering free, online yoga classes, the stream of donations became too low to cover rent. Now, we are here to help Emily, the owner, pay back some of that deferred rent and hopefully help her get back on her feet. Emily took out a small business disaster relief loan, which she needs to pay back as well. Anything will help take a little bit of weight off of her and the Root Yoga family’s shoulders.

Root has been a staple in Oxford for the past 5 years. They have hosted many free yoga events around town, and done their best to support the Oxford community in any way possible They pride themselves in being active members in the Oxford community and are hoping their years of kindness be returned when they need it the most. I know it would mean the world to Emily and the Root family to show our support. While it will not bring Root Yoga back, it will give Emily the chance to start over and continue to pursue her passion of yoga. Any and all help is appreciated.
