Fundraising for Liscard Panthers U8’s

Hello,

I am fundraising for our Under 8’s football team that I coach, my brother in law managers and my nephew plays for!

I have always watched from the sidelines, cheering on the boys every week until an opportunity to join the team became available, i have always said I wouldn’t get involved in kids football, but this team and these parents are a special bunch.

It has always been a plan of my brother in laws to take a group of kids and their parents away to another country and have the experience of playing against different teams in different nations. He tried this 10 years ago and the week before they were due to leave, he found out that the person they trusted with their money never even booked it and had stolen the cash they had raised. For this reason he has always put off doing it again.

With a new group of kids, we are eager to put that in the past and create memories that will last a lifetime!

My plan is to start the fundraising off by running in the Liverpool 10k Tunnel Run. I have paid for the run myself and all money raised will go straight into our teams pot to begin the fundraising to be able to take the lads away and ensure all the children are given the opportunity without the parents having the financial burden for the whole family.
