Support Draper Family's Medical and Funeral Costs!

My name is Meg Gazaway, I am raising money to help one of my dearest family friends, Melanie Draper. Melanie has had a very unexpected fight for her life!

 On Sunday, September 3rd, Melanie was taken to the Emergency room because of intense abdominal pain. They ran some tests and were taking her for a CT scan and she vomited and aspirated some into her lungs. Her blood pressure dropped to zero. Code Blue! About 10 people began working on her in a trauma room putting a ventilator in and doing CPR. We lost her for a bit until they were able to establish a pulse again! It has been a very scary ride for her family and loved ones. In the past 8 days, Mel has undergone 3 lifesaving surgeries. She has been in ICU on life support/ventilator and has proven to be quite the fighter. We have seen MANY miracles and watched how the power of prayer can bring someone from deaths door, to a fighting hope of normalcy again.

Melanie means the world to me! I started spending time with the Draper family when I was 12 years old. In them I found so much love and support as a new girl in the neighborhood. In the process they became such a part of my life and heart, and I chose their daughter as the Sister I had always hoped for! We have been through lives highs and lows, Weddings, births and funerals. We go so way back, I can't even remember a time without them. They have just always been there.

Now is my time to step up and help be a support to them through this unexpected severe illness. Please help me bless this very deserving family with peace of mind to rid the high stress of medical bills from a high deductible.
