Send A Child To School (St Elizabeth & Manchester, Jamaica)
Tax deductible
The Diaspora For Children Foundation (501c3) is on a mission to assist the children of St. Elizabeth and Manchester, Jamaica at Pedro Plains Primary, Sandy Bank Primary and Pratville Primary by ensuring they have the essential resources needed for a successful education. We are raising funds to provide much-needed school supplies, including backpacks, books, whiteboards, and markers that will enhance the learning experience for children in these communities. Additionally, we aim to promote safety and well-being in schools by supplying first aid kits and other well needed items. Your generous contributions will not only help us equip classrooms but will also create a safer and more supportive environment for our future leaders.
These communities where these students reside were recently ravaged by Hurricane Beryl and we aim to have their parents worry about one less thing. Every child deserves the opportunity to learn and thrive, and with your help, we can make a significant impact on their educational journey. By donating to our campaign, you are investing in the future of these children and helping to bridge the gap in educational resources. Together, we can ensure that every child has the tools they need to succeed in school and beyond. Join us in our quest to "Send a Child to School" and create a brighter future for St. Elizabeth and Manchester.
We are Diaspora For Children Foundation a 501c3 non-profit based in the US that co-ordinates activities for children in the African Diaspora with specific focus on Jamaica and Sierra Leone. We aim to raise funds for these communities as some of our members went to school in these areas and we will be using all funds raised to purchase the items listed and distribute directly to the schools.
