Dear Class of 2003
It is with a heavy heart and profound sadness that we write to you today to share devastating news about a tragic incident that has deeply affected our community. It is with deep sorrow that we mourn the loss of one of Kellen Grewell's twin sons Kellen Grewell Jr., age 7. He was involved in a fatal automobile accident on July 7, 2023, on Highway 101 near Gardiner. Tara Clanton and I have been with him since the notification and have been in constant contact with his family. One of the ways we were asked to help was to help honor Kellen Jr by creating a roadside memorial sign. Because it occurred on a state highway we are not permitted to have a personal memorial. However, Washington DOT has signs available to purchase to be placed at the site of the accident indefinitely. We are asking if everyone can donate to help pay for the sign and any left over money will go towards financial support via gift cards and such. His twin Aiden Grewell and Father are still processing this horrible tragedy. There is a separate gofundme that his sister Kianna has started that is strictly for financial support. They have specifically asked us to do our own gofundme for the sign. The family is also asking for privacy at this time. Kellen is grieving and is apperciative of everyones support but will reach out when he is ready. Thank you all for your support with this horrible tragedy.
