3D Printed Face Shields for Healthcare Workers
Donation protected
Hey there, My name is Emmanuel Oyemade and I am a 2nd-year student studying Product Design at the University of Sussex. The COVID-19 pandemic has spread shockwaves of fear, panic and uncertainty across the globe with thousands of new cases each day. Health care services are severely stretched and struggling to provide the health care needed for the general public. Over the past few weeks, it has been mentioned in the news how Doctors and Nurses are having to work without basic Personal Protection Equipment, putting themselves at high risk which leads to health care workers catching the infection and further crippling our NHS. In this day and age of modern technology, this is unacceptable. As an owner of a 3D Printer, I was inspired to create a Face Shield and within a few hours, I had printed my first design. This design is continuously being revised to reduce production time and increase the amount I produce. Your support is needed as we work together to defeat COVID-19 Thank you for reading and if you would like to follow the journey, please follow my Instagram page https://www.instagram.com/official_oyesk/
