3D Printed Prosthetics for Child Amputees
Donation protected
Through a collective of international partners, including Canadian medics, humanitarian organizations in Gaza, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt, and technology companies, we will bring 30 3D-printed prosthetics to children in Gaza.
As you know, I am based in Montréal, Canada, and will be traveling to either Jordan, Egypt or Lebanon (decided based on the unfolding of events) in Spring 2025 to oversee the printing, assembling and shipment of the prosthetics to Gaza.
We are raising funds to cover the costs of 3D printing materials (TPU, TPE and ABS Filament), the shipping and delivery of the prosthetics. The largest amount of funds will be dedicated to the creation and delivery of psychosocial workshops to help the children and their families understand their new challenges as an amputee as well as adapt to the use of the prosthetic, paired with physiotherapy support.
I will be posting regular updates of the project details, as well as receipts of all expenses. In case the project cannot be carried out or the fundraiser goes above its goal, all funds will be given to Glia Foundation and the PCRF.
