Help Moataz's & Sama's Family Rebuild Their Lives In GAZA

Donation protected
THOSE WHO DIED, THEY WERE SAFE

I recently heard this saying a lot, from my family, my friends, my neighbors, the families that we met during the displacement and even on screens and in the news, but I was not aware of it until I saw the magnitude of the destruction, starvation and genocide in Gaza, my dear city. And as we say in Arabic my land and even if it oppressed me is dear to me.
"You are going to read hereunder the stories of suffering of two families, who met during the war trying to help each other with the minimum that they can do to each other."

DEAR KINDHEARTED SUPPORTERS
I never imagined that I'd have a sad story to share, BUT I'm trying to live the life that was stolen before my eyes.
I'm Sama, a Registered Nurse from Gaza Strip, I have 5 younger sisters and I help my parents to provide everything my sisters need.
MY CHILDHOOD HOUSE turned from A SAFE HEAVEN to A PILE OF ASH!

The nightmare started on the 27th of December at 7:30 a.m. when we got news (everyone has to clear the place it will be destroyed)
We hurried to flee without taking anything just our IDs, hoping to stay alive, we weren't alone at home, it included also our friends who were displaced on November to my house, so with the destruction we and them became HOMELESS! Currently, we live in A TENT under extremely inhumane conditions which is hot in the morning and cold at night in addition to its bad ventilation, the lack of hygiene and the spread of diseases, also we suffer every day to provide food and water.

My house was not just walls containing doors and windows, every corner of it was telling a story, it was a box of warm memories.
It hurts me a lot to see my dad lost, thinking about our home, our comfort zone how it was destroyed in the blink of an eye, after years of debts and fatigue, not knowing HOW to continue our lives or save our needs, WILL he start again, WHAT is the fate of my sisters in their studies?!

Not only did I lose my house, I lost a dear friend, my little garden, my university, my favorite places, even my dream (since I was young, I wish to go through the experience of traveling and completing my study abroad)!
A lot of negative energy occupies me, life slapped me with this disaster, I've grown up without realising that, and I don't wanna my little sisters live the same. The situation is getting worse as the days go by, I don't know what awaits me :(
I'm living in a nightmare I wanna to wake up from, so I gently ask you to help me urgently and humbly to rebuild my childhood house so that my family and I could live a decent life and stay together under one roof without parting cause we deserve happiness.

Moreover, lots of families suffer the same disaster and Moataz's family one of the families that we had met and we are living together and here is their story.

Hi, my name is Moataz. I am a Palestinian from Gaza living abroad, and I haven't seen my family for two years now in the hope of coming back to see them all better, but soon this hope was dissipated on the wreck of war, and there is no home, no memories left together and for sure no hopes, where life in Gaza turned gray, and life has nothing but tiredness and misery in finding a living. While the whole world is complicit and turns a blind eye on what is happening in Gaza, families there pass through difficult times facing only one fate DEATH whether of hunger, bombings or extreme cold with no shelters, just outdoor tents that do not protect them from summer heat or cold in winter. Including my family, where my family's house was destroyed and bombed while they were inside, then my cousin died. My grandfather's house was also completely destroyed, and three of my uncles were arrested, with their sons and wives up until now, Conditions deteriorated as bombings increased. Until it became said that those who died had survived. So I set up this donation campaign to help my family to build the house and get their lives back. I won't say as it was before because it takes a lot of time, but at least a good life to continue living in Gaza.

As you see above this is what remained of the house. This house used to shelter about 50 people, consisting of uncles and cousins, especially since my family is extended and large.
On 02/11/2023,my family house was bombed by the Israeli airplane six months ago while my family was still inside so they had to flee the house from the second floor using a ladder, they broke an opening in the wall so that they would be able to escape the house from behind away from the eyes of the israeli tanks which were encroaching the whole neighborhood destroying everything in front of them. you can imagine how harsh this situation was for my family, especially when you have children and kids, infants, girls, and boys what should you do in this case, you are going to run for your life leaving everything behind or trying to stay alive protecting your children.

My family is six uncles with their children who were living the house their names are as follows:
  • Jamal his wife Najah, children (Mohammed, Maysara, Mahmoud, Bilal, Wessam with his two kids, Arwa)
  • Nasser his wife Safinaze, children (Hossam, Ehab with wife and 3 daughters, Osama, Eman)
  • Salah and my mom Naela, my brothers (Mohammed and his daughter, Tariq, Sally)
  • Rafea his wife Neama, children (Moatasem, Ramy, Ramzi, Saleem with family, Noor, Ahmed)
  • Wael his wife Heba children (Ramadan, Sohib, Mohammed, Shahed, Malak)
  • Hitham and his wife Aliaa children (Omar, Mohanad, Momen, Mohammed, Huda, Tasneem, Rital, Shimaa)

My family is made up of 6 individuals, they are Salah, my father, and my mother’s name is Naila, my brothers are Mohamed, and his wife Ayda and his children Celine and Jude. Jude is the youngest where he was born during the war, Tariq is a dentist and Sally works as a physiotherapist.

As a result of the war, all members of my family lost their jobs, including Sally, who used to work with patients in hospitals, so she decided to provide assistance to those who injured during the war by providing them with physical therapy services, and here is her story.

I am Sally Al-Borno, a physiotherapist, Moataz's sister. I have worked in helping patients of all types and all health problems, orthopedic, mental and neurological. I worked for international institutions that provide psychological support services and therapeutic medical services, as well as those that support cancer patients and provide psychological support and palliative care from the moment the disease is discovered until the stage of complete recovery from it.

I also worked for Mercy Corps and IMC, which provide awareness workshops about cancer, its symptoms, and how to prevent it in marginalized areas in the Gaza Strip.

Finally, I hope to continue my work as a physiotherapist to help people injured during the war and provide them with the necessary care.

Another sufferring Story

After two months of war, Mohammed's apartment was also targeted and totally destroyed, Mohammed Married and has two kids, girl named celine and boy named Jud who was born during the war, was working as a debt collector for a company and now because of the horrible situation in Gaza and the famine that the strip lives, it's sure that he can't continue working due to the extreme poverty conditions the families endure in Gaza. Mohammed is now down for nothing, out of his apartment and the only source of living, his work.
