Funeral Help for Andy

Hello,

My name is Britney Huffman and I'm fundraising for my Dad Andrew Huffman.

Alot of you know him as Andy or even Big Andy , or Andy from Shag Lane lol

We all know Big Andy has always been a strong warrior . The baddest white boy from King George. The one everyone loved playing basketball with or football with because they knew Big Andy was gonna get it done.

My dad's always been the tough thick skin, hard head type. But this is why we love even harder with him . 50 years old and If you know his upbringing and know his childhood then you know why he's as strong mentally and physically. He's overcome some extremely tough battles in his life. But that didn't stop him from being the best dad a girl like me could ask for .

My dad was a girl dad . He fought thru hell and high water to give me the best he could.

He always told me we may not be money rich but we are most certainly love rich. He taught me the values and love in everything gods created. Then also had to be real and teach me the not so beautiful side of this life and taught me how to handle those bad situations and how to overcome all diversities.

My dad has tried to be there for everyone for just anything. No questions asked.

He needs us now. Dad's been tough for a long time and his fight is wearing thin.

In 2021 my dad took extremely ill. And in 2022 was diagnosed with N A.S.H AND CIRRHOSIS OF THE LIVER.

Placed on life support same day when he had a life saving procedure called TIPS.

Mary Washington Hospital saved my dad that day. That has allowed me this past year with him and I'm forever grateful. He had a chance to meet his first grand daughter Paris. Had a chance to bond with his grandson Jordan and to reiterate his love for me and my mother Tina.

With my mother whom as well was on life support for 41 days. She was diagnosed with aspergillis which is mold in the lungs.

Financially myself and the family have been trying our hardest to support and keep us all strong as hard as we can. I'm asking for help because now dad and mom can't do it anymore . I need help.

My dad's been in this hospital now for almost 2 weeks . And this time the progression of the liver damage is severely affecting his thought process and inability to control his physical movements. His ammonia level in his blood is progressing extremely fast. From 37 on day one to 133 today. So he's a bit groggy and is very emotional. Yet he still able to repeat over and over the words I'm sorry . Breaks my heart seeing my daddy in this condition. Anyone that knows me knows I am my father's daughter . And he is me. 2 of the same cut from the same cloth. My big strong daddy is fighting with all he's got. And I can't help.but sit back and think of the great things in this life we've done. My dad.

Any adult out here knows They have bills that are not stopping because there so ill. And with myself just having a newborn I'm doing as much as I can. Please if anyone can help with donations towards hospital needs,travel expenses, food, dad house bills rent electric , and all copays. I would be forever grateful.
