Baby in Need of a Heart Transplant

Hi my name is Destiny and I am trying to help my family. My little sister, brother-in-law, and niece are expecting baby boy Micah in April. This sweet baby boy is in for a fight to put it mildly. He has a congenital heart defect called hypoplastic right heart syndrome that will require many surgeries. He will have the first surgery 5 days after he is delivered and will be in the hospital for at least 30 days. His brave and amazing parents being with him through all of this will not be able to work during all of this. And that is where I am asking for ya'lls help. He will be delivered in New Orleans while my mother and I take care of their oldest little girl, Toni. That said they could use any help you could offer with expenses such as lodging, food, and gas to come back to see the kiddo or for us to be able to take her to meet her little brother when he is strong enough. Anything including prayers and positive thoughts are appreciated.

Update- Micah Thomas has come into the world as of April 24th. Since being born our little man has been going through a lot of tests and procedures. We found out today that Micah needs a heart transplant. This is a stressful and unknown amount of time. This little family needs whatever help you can provide and all the prayers.

Update- Micah and family are holding steady. Micah's medical expenses are covered, fortunately. This fundraiser is to help the family with expenses incurred from living away from home while waiting for a heart to become available.
