Liddle Kidz Foundation / A Work of Heart
Tax deductible
Want to join me in making a difference? I am raising money to benefit Liddle Kidz Foundation, and any donation will help make an impact. Liddle Kidz Foundation Global uses the power of touch to reach the world's most vulnerable children with experiences of appropriate nurturing touch that they often lack. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. Please read on to see how this Foundation is about to affect my life!
Here are some examples of the good your combined dollars can and will do:
Provide nurturing touch to an infant who needs it most.
Educate families to use massage therapy/therapeutic touch to help their child and bond
Provide pediatric massage to orphaned infants and children
with specialized healthcare needs.
Train healthcare staff to provide continued care and incorporate non-invasive ways to alleviate pain,
headaches, constipation, congestion and so many more
Some of you know that I have been chosen as a Global Ambassador to participate in the Liddle Kidz International Therapeutic Exchange Program. This is a huge honor, as over 4, 200 people applied for the 30 volunteer spots going to the Philippines.
This team of massage therapists, physical and occupational therapists, nurses, child life specialist, and other healthcare professionals will be in the Philippines for 3 weeks of Dec. 2019. We will provide pediatric massage/touch therapy to the children in numerous areas of the country within hospitals, orphanages and child care centers. Our goal is to train families/caregivers so that the healing benefits continue long after we leave.

You will be able to understand why I wanted to get involved.
For me personally, I participated in several pediatric massage classes with Tina Allen, Founder and Director of Liddle Kidz Foundation. You can see the list of classes and locations on the website. As a pediatric nurse, I was interested in ways to help children/families in the home that were non-invasive and encouraged bonding and enabled parents to feel involved and able to help their child.
Now recently retired, I would like to use what I learned and will learn through this outreach to advocate the "nurturing touch" and help “promote family". I believe that this opportunity and journey will give me the self-confidence to continue advocating for children and their families through massage therapy. It costs no dollars for parents and caregivers in the home to provide massage therapy to their child/children. They need the knowledge however, to use touch in proper techniques to alleviate pain, constipation, headaches, anxieties, etc.. In doing this, they can strengthen bonding and communication between them. Both the provider and the receiver will benefit from the time spent on massage therapy. Pediatric massage therapy is a great avenue to Be In The Moment.
When we think, “it’s too late.” God whispers, “I still have a plan.”
Thanks for stopping and letting me share with you! Help me spread the great work that is being done to support children everywhere by sharing this to your Facebook page. If you can and would like to help support my outreach, your tax-deductible donation would be appreciated!
Thank you,
Helen
