Elias Martinez tragic leg injury

On March 5th of 2024 Elias Martinez got into a tragic work accident while working with a family member. Elias was then rushed to the hospital in a ambulance because his right leg got caught in a stump grinder causing open wounds from his ankle to his upper thigh and had to undergo emergency surgery to close these wounds and even receive a skin transplant. If you know Elias he is a humble hard working man. He loves to put a smile on others faces at whatever cost and is always there for others even if it means putting himself last. Unfortunately Elias will be months in recovery and will be needing physical therapy for all the trauma his leg received . At this time there is no discharge date from the hospital and no telling when Elias will be able to return to work or even be up on his feet. I have created this go fund me to help my brother in law and his wife with hospital bills, recovery expenses, months of no work, and all the expenses this trauma has caused. Update: Thank you to everyone who has donated and kept us in your prayers. Eli was discharged from the hospital on Friday, March 15th. As you may know he was involved in an accident and his right leg got caught in a stump grinder. He injured his right thigh and right calf. They were able to close up the injury in his thigh with stitches but, he needed a skin graft on his right calf as he lost all his skin. I give all glory and praise to God that he did not injure any arteries, tendons or nerves. Eli was sent home with a wound vac to help his skin graft attach to the muscle. He still has a long recovery ahead of him but we are grateful that so far everything has been running smoothly. Thank you for all of your support and please keep us in your prayers.
