Help Roxy Get Back On Her Feet

Hi, my name is Chad and I'm hoping to help out one of my closest and dearest friends Roxana Cardenas.

Roxy suffered a tragic fall late on Sunday Oct. 2nd, 2022 from a 2nd floor balcony. She was rushed to Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Grapevine, Texas to immediately have a Level 4 Spinal Fusion Surgery. She then spent 5 days in ICU and is currently healing at Baylor.

Roxy currently can not walk.

The road to recovery will be a long one. Roxy needs to get into a physical rehab ASAP. But as she is a lifelong Service Industry Worker, she did not have insurance at the time of her accident.

She has applied to Medicaid, but that won't cover everything. And the process takes time.

We are asking those who can, to contribute what they can to help bridge the gap. She needs to get started on rehab ASAP. Every day is crucial.

We have seen some encouraging developments, and she is gaining strength daily.

I want to see her get the care she needs as well as the supplies she needs to assist with mobility and dealing with her current reality.
