Time is critical! Help Andrew Fight Cancer!!

Hi, my name is Samantha and my friend Dayna and I are putting together this go fund me for our dear friend Andrew and his family. Andrew is a good friend to all he meets. He has a love and a passion for his family and fishing. Andrew had a very success flooring business for many years until he found out he had cancer. In July of 2019 Andrew went to the emergency room with kidney stones and at that time they found a lesion on his liver. In December of 2019 it was confirmed cancer. In January of 2020 he had surgery to have a portion of his liver removed. In June of 2020, he was ready and waiting for the all clear from his doctor to go back to work. Unfortunately, he was told the cancer had metastasized and he needed to start treatment right away. Andrew is now currently waiting for approval from his insurance company for an immunotherapy treatment that just became available in December. These immunotherapy treatments will not cure Andrew but prayerfully they Will extremely slow down the progression or pause it from progressing completely. Andrew has exhausted all other avenues of treatment. He has been out of work since January 2020. His wife Katina has been working full time during these challenging times and together they have been raising their 16 year old son Devon. They are struggling to pay their Medical expenses and living expenses. Their health insurance has denied the immunotherapy treatments due to the newness of the drugs. They are currently in the appeal process. If they do not approve coverage this will be an out of pocket expense of $20,000 to $30,000 a month. Every day counts and every day they wait for approval lessons the effectiveness of the immunotherapy injections.
