To my friends:
I am urgently trying to put together $3k (borrowed)

I have been looking for the right moment to reconnect and tell you the story of the last two years. The short version is that we have been homeless and mostly on the street. I knew I could get back on my feet and didn't want to involve my friends and family in the struggle. 

But it just got deeper. I have gotten us into a temporary shelter which makes working possible and have some housing options on the horizon. I have mostly kept up with phone and storage until the last three months.

I am driving for Uber and it has helped but not fast enough. My phone service is cut off and I am going to lose my storage unit tomorrow [May 1st, 2019].   

We can lose the things but not the medical records and photos etc. I am sorry to call on you so late in the game. ( Pride mostly.) Now I need help by tomorrow.

I am looking forward to reconnecting, I have really missed you all. Please, if you think you can help.

The Storage unit is behind by $1k and I'll have to pay next month $500 in order to empty it. I plan to use sale of the things inside to pay folks back.
