Rhonda's Road to Recovery

Our dear friend Rhonda (and one of my caregivers) was in a tragic car wreck on June 24th while visiting her daughters and grandchildren in Dallas. A van pulled out in front of her and when the cars collided she broke both wrists and was hospitalized. She will be laid up in recovery for at least 4 months. Rhonda will not be able to do the basics of driving, showering, cooking, feeding herself, ect. The accident destroyed her car and she will have lots of medical co-pays and financial necessities in the coming 4 months. 

Rhonda has been one of my main caregivers since I lost my hands and feet to amputation in 2015. She has helped me to feed myself, bath, and shower, among many other healthcare chores in that time. It breaks my heart to see her going through the same trials that I have experienced without functional hands.
