DAAS Choir New York Trip

The Detroit Academy of Arts and Sciences (DAAS) show choir has been invited to perform on many national stages. More recently, they performed at a holiday reception at the White House! They even had the opportunity to perform privately for the President and First lady.

This trip was a blessing, and made possible with the help of very generous donors.

Now, the choir has been invited to perform on the NBC's "Today Show" for a special holiday performance December 15, 2015. However, the choir needs to raise funds in order to make the New York Trip possible.

The funds will go toward hotel, food and travel cost for the 40 choir members and 10 dancers from the school.

These, as well as other performances will help DAAS keep the arts in it's school, which is used as a motivational tool for the students.

The DAAS choir has performed nationally on various shows including the Ellen DeGeneres show, America's Got Talent, and at Walt Disney World.
