Help Nelson Heal

My brother-in-law, Chris, is very ill and requires X-rays every day, along with CT scans every few days to track the progression of his illness/treatment. He is on several expensive medications and has to have blood drawn every six hours.  Please help with expenses for the Nelson family's medical emergency.

Chris was Diagnosed with C. Diff in February. After a few different attempts of antibiotics his condition continually worsened. In the hospital we found that he also developed Ulcerative Colitis. His large intestines are very inflamed causing his stomach to back up. They have placed a G-tube in to suction out the contents and help relieve the pressure and swelling of his stomach. After several days of steroids, numerous antinausea medications and antibiotics it looks like we are finally moving in a more positive direction! It was getting pretty discouraging there for a day or so. Inflammation levels continue to come down, he's starting to say he's feeling less bloat and pain. He still isn't allowed to eat or drink until the inflammation is gone and they can remove the gtube. They are not sure how long he will be in the hospital, it all depends on how fast the Steroids work and how he's recovering. It sounds like it may be a long road, and the ulcerative colitis will be something he will have to manage the rest of his life. The family greatly appreciates your contributions and prayers for their family as we work with the medical staff to get Chris on the road to recovery.
