Help Nour’s Family and Newborn Survive War
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Melissa, and I’m located in the U.S., raising money for Nour and her family in Gaza. All donations will be sent via bank transfer or other secure method.
Nour is nine months pregnant, due September 15, 2024. It’s critical we raise enough to support her in case of medical complications and to ensure there are sufficient food, water, diapers, hygiene products, etc.
Edit: Nour gave birth to a beautiful baby boy, Muhammad, on September 13th.
The family is:
Nour, 24
Ghassan
Ahmed, 7
Sila, 4
Muhammad, infant
Here’s Nour’s story:
I am Nour, I am 24 years old, and my husband is Ghassan. I got married when I was young. I have two children, a boy and a girl. A boy named Ahmed is 7 years old, and my beautiful daughter Sila is 4 years old.
We were in a beautiful house, me and my wonderful children, before this fierce war came, destroying my home, my memories, my dreams, my children’s dreams, my children’s memories, and destroyed my future. My children and my young son’s dream of going to school and my little girl who was deprived of going to kindergarten. Unfortunately, it was all gone and destroyed. My children were displaced. We were displaced. We lived in Balkhim. We lived in cold.
We were displaced. We lived in Khim. We lived in cold, hot, extreme heat. Lack of water. Lack of food. Lack of safety and stability in my country. Because God gave me my fetus, and I was in war, and I was satisfied with what God had divided for me. But I and my fetus lived through difficult days of illness, hunger, suffering, and instability. I suffered from premature birth due to the fatigue of the tent and a small fetus.[Doctors were worried Nour would deliver prematurely]
I very much hope that I, his father, will be in peace, and that he will come in peace, and that I will leave this place, and that I, my children, and my fetus will be saved safely, and that my fetus will arrive in health and peace.
And while Muhammad was delivered safely, he has no diapers and no clothes. Imagine having a newborn while living in a tent in the winter without any of the basic necessities for infants. We hope to collect enough to meet the family’s basic needs and then eventually save for evacuation.
