Help us to Honor ‘Laura Holmes’ life & legacy

Donation protected
Dear friends and family I am fundraising for my beautiful mother who passed away suddenly September 1st 2024 Laura Holmes was a best friend to everyone she ever met, I lived in this area, my entire life and made a handful of friends. When she moved here around 10 years ago, she had lived here for less than a month and everywhere we would go. Everyone would just run up to her and say hi Laura and hug her. She never knew a stranger she loved everyone so much her friends were literally her family And her family was literally her world. Her grandchildren were so important to her.
She had an amazing village of friends ranging from every age and gender. Her friends were women in their 20’s to women in there 80’s
She was all about saving people and she would literally give you her last dime, the shirt off of her back. During the end, she had a lot of problems that a lot of people didn’t get to see this part of her, and we want them to remember all of this. I want them to remember who she really was so the celebration of life is the most important thing that we can do to honor who she was and who she really is, I hope that she’s looking down on us right now And can be there with us that day that is my belief and that is what I will always believe.

I know this is such a strange thing to be doing and we don’t love it but our pride aside, her death has humbled me enough to know that I will do anything to ensure that her grandchildren, her friends and her children and family get to process what has happened in the correct way if there is such a thing. All we can do is try to do that thankyou all so much.

if I can not attach her obituary, it is at Dickey  funeral home of Harrisonville on Facebook under Laura Eileen Holmes, her son Justin Randazzo wrote a beautiful obituary

Our mom was in the midst of receiving life insurance benefits to cover the cost of any funeral in the future since her death was so sudden and unexpected. We were not ready, and we are still not ready to be able to throw her a celebration of life, funeral or anything. We really want to do this badly for her grandchildren mostly so they get to process cope and understand what’s going on around them.
We want to do this for her friends and family for her children. The situation is horrible. She was a very young vibrant, lo person, and literally didn’t know a stranger.

We are asking for help with cremation and a service that is for EVERYONE! also we would love to do something amazing with her ashes to give back to this earth like plant a tree in the future of course.
The initial cremation is 2000usd

The reason we are putting a little more is so that we can have an event where everyone can come and celebrate her life and get some closure to cry to laugh to pray to celebrate whatever is your way of coping . To
Do whatever you need to do to process

again this would mean the absolute world to her children and grandchildren she is survived by 4 children and 10 grandchildren aging from the Age’s of 16 to only 2 year of age.
I I cannot explain the gratitude that we have for any amount even starting at a dollar could help it doesn’t have to be large. You can remain anonymous if you would like to please put your name so that we can give you a thank you for your gracious donations if you need somebody to get a hold of,us you can do so on here or on Facebook please txt if possible
thank you so much everyone and there is an obituary that I should be posting with this that explains that everyone is invited everyone who ever knew her if you only knew her for sure amount of time anyone who wants to celebrate with us, we are going to try to get an event center  and just do what we can do what we believe  she would have wanted. I do not believe it was her time to go. I believe at 55 years old!
she’s only 17 years older than her eldest son This is all just a horrible nightmare and I hope that we can get through it together. We love you all so much and we would appreciate anything that you have and if you can donate that’s perfectly fine just thank you for being here with us during this horrific time.
