My name is Ella-Louise Appleby I am 18, from South Wales UK.
From the age of 3 I have had a dream to become a professional ballet dancer. I began ballet classes with Jacqui Everson at Gemini School of Dance when I was 4. Since then I have passed many Cecchetti Ballet examinations. At the age of 9 years I won Wales and the West junior award and then in 2013 I won the senior award. I was also both a Cecchetti Society and Ballet Cymru associate. I am now in my second year of professional training at KS Dance, Warrington. I am delighted to announce that this summer I have been selected to represent the U.K. in the Cecchetti Ballet International Competition that will be held in Florence Italy. I feel very honoured to represent my country. I am training in classical ballet which is my passion. I've also taken exams in both modern and Spanish dance. I have recently passed my DDI teaching examination and I am currently studying to achieve my DDE teaching qualification so I can share my experience and knowledge of dance with the next generation.Unfortunately I have been unable to secure any funding to help with my training fees and associated costs. ( i.e. pointe shoes, leotards, tutus, costumes etc) I am looking for financial support to help me through the remaining duration of my training. I have another 18 months left. Any support you can give to help me achieve my life long dream of becoming a professional dancer would be greatly appreciated. I will keep you updated with my story. Thank you. Ella-Louise Appleby
