Hi, my name is Nishan Torigian,
I have been an active member of the Boy Scouts since I was ten. These years as a boy scout have taught me about what it means to be a wilderness survivor, an active member of society, and many other skills. As I have learned these lessons, I climbed up the ranks of scouting, and now I am working on the highest rank available, called Eagle rank. This rank comes with some tough requirements. One of these requirements is to design and manage a service project that benefits the community. I decided that the project I would do should benefit the church I grew up in, St Thomas Armenian Church.
The project I have selected is to convert an old garden area that was unsightly into a memorial garden. This project will be seen by everyone who attends the church.
Any amount you could donate would be greatly appreciated, as it would help my goal of beautifying the church and bring me closer to achieving the Eagle rank. The donated funds you provide will be used to pay for the project costs. I would appreciate your donation by November 3rd, 2017. In addition, any excess funds collected will be donated to the church.
