Nebraska/Iowa Flood Aviation Relief
Donation protected
Extreme flooding is causing people to be homeless. Extreme damage across Nebraska and Iowa. Residual extensive flooding continues today, as rivers and streams continue to be at record levels and have expanded to areas unaccustomed to flooding from levee breech. People are stranded with semi trucks not able to bring in supplies. We are flying in supplies and need your help.
We are using the money to buy diapers, blankets, formula, and supplies to fly in with pilot volunteers. We are buying items the community is needing and the list is getting long! Water, food, and necessities.
The Nebraska Emergency Management Association is calling the state's flooding "historically catastrophic."
"The Salvation Army Gene Eppley Camp east of Highway 75 was taken over by floodwaters. The property appears to be a total loss as water has overtaken buildings up to the roofs. The employees who live at the camp have lost their homes."
We are filling airplanes to take into areas where communities are blocked on all sides. Nobody in or out other than emergency vehicles for water and aircrafts.
If you want to donate goods, please drop off at Keller Williams Realty at 2514 N 119th St in Omaha, 119th and Center. Donations will be taken to Millard Airport to be flown in. Money donated will be used to buy items for many stranded people in need. Thank you for your help!
