Invited to Autism Awards Ceremony
Donation protected
My name is Russell Lehmann, I am autistic, and I have been invited to represent the United States at the 2013 International Naturally Autistic People's Awards in British Columbia, Canada on October 1, 2013. Over 17 countries from all around the globe will be represented there! You can learn more about the ceremony at www.naturallyautistic.com and on their Facebook page: Naturally Autistic
Since I am disabled, I am in dire need of help to be able to afford my trip to Canada and to attend this once-in-a-lifetime event. ANY AMOUNT DONATED WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!
I am a poet/author/spoken word artist and have had my work featured in the LA Times and the Reno-Gazette Journal. I have also been featured in numerous news segments, and my book earned an Honorable Mention at the 2012 New York Book Festival.
Temple Grandin calls my poems "Beautiful", while Mark Haddon, author of "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time", says he "really enjoyed reading my autobiography and poems".
