HEATHER'S HEART TRANSPLANT JOURNEY

Those who know Heather, know her heart history- those who don’t, I’m here to give you a little background information.

When Heather was 23 years old, she had a quadruple bypass due to a bacterial infection within her heart valve. Since that surgery 21 years ago, several things have happened with her heart and her health in general- such as being misdiagnosed with Epilepsy- Heather has seizures, but they are cardiac seizures from her heart function only working at 25%. She has Anti-Phospholipid syndrome, along with decreased kidney function -she is in stage 3 cardiac renal failure. Her heart is killing her kidneys. We are still waiting to see if she needs to have a kidney transplant on top of everything else.

We are asking for donations to help out with the transplant itself, medications(including anti-rejection meds), hospital stays and anything else that Heather may need along the way.
