Walker Family

I was approached and asked to start a go fund me page for our family. For those that don't know us I will explain our situation and introduce our family. I am Jenna Walker the mom, wife and care giver to my husband and children and 2 dogs. Philip is my husband and the main reason why I was asked to start this. We have 2 children, Brenden whom is 13 and is in 7th grade, then Lillian is 11 and in 6th grade. We also have Ebony and Ivory our wonderful dogs. Well that's us. Now I will explain our situation. Phil was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis just before we met, after a 4 surgeries to remove his colon and no improvement about 4 years ago he was also diagnosed with Crohns. He then still had more problems and his health was going down hill. His GI doctor did some testing and found that he also had Primary Schlorosing Colongitis (PSC). Since diagnosed with PSC he has had 12 scope surgeries to try and keep his bial ducts open to his liver. PSC, Crohns and Ulcreative Colitis are all auto-immune diseases whish means your body is attacking it's self. They have done everything they can to keep his bial ducts open but his liver is dying and they said that he needs a new liver in order to live a little more. Because he has the other diseases it may only prolong his life about a year or so but it's better than the alternative. He has done all the tests and has finally been accepted to the transplant list. They are trying to hurry it along as much as possible because originally they gave him until end of December to live. We are praying hard and hopeful that he will live to get a new liver. Since he was diagnosed with PSC he has not been able to work. I also lost my nanny job due to the family moving and can't get a new job because I need to take care of him. So we get no money and in turn have no way to pay anything including his medical bills. This is why we are asking for help. The medical bills will only get worse and we need to be able to pay bills until we can be accepted for Social Security. Please don't feel like you need to donate and I just put a number in but anything helps. Prayers and hopeful thoughts are also appreciated and welcomed. Thank you so much for reading our story.
