Medical Veterinarian Surgery

Hi my name is Larry, I am a 26yr retired Navy Disabled Veteran. I'm fund raising for Joey (JoJo). He is my 4 year old Shih Tzu mix. A very important part of my life. He's my friend my emotional support. Monday we got ready for bed an Joey had lost use of he's hind legs. My heart sank. After a visit to the local vet hospital it was determined he would require a MRI and possibly surgery. I drove Joey to Auburn University Veterinary Hospital where they determined he had a herniated disk and would require surgery. Without hesitation I authorize the neurologist to do what ever needed to be done. After 4.5 hours in surgery he's prognosis is good with 80% of full recovery.
